Sari Silk Shawls—this is a multi-colored silk yarn, hand-spun by women in collectives in remote mountain regions of the Himalayas which uses the jewel-toned fibers left over from the making of sari’s. The resulting yarn is rustic, simultaneously thick and thin, with fibers that escape from the spin creating an “eyelash” or “halo” effect.
